We are seeking, from 1 November 2024, a non-surgical ophthalmology specialist (m/f/d) for a permanent full-time or part-time position (30–40 hrs/week).
The services offered by our ophthalmology practice cover the full spectrum of non-surgical ophthalmology. We also perform outpatient (day-case) operations and laser procedures. We are an owner-managed, investor-free company, centrally located in the south-west of Berlin across two sites, including on Kurfürstendamm. Our third site at Europacenter/Breitscheidplatz, with its own operating theatre, will open at the end of 2024.

Qualifications / Requirements
▸ You are an enrolled student, ideally a medical student
▸ You are solution-oriented, committed and empathetic
▸ You are tech-savvy and confident using standard office applications

▸ Excellent German language skills and respectful manners round off your profile

Scope of the Role
▸ Non-surgical work in the ophthalmology practice
▸ Interpretation of OCT scans
▸ Determining indications and conducting follow-up reviews for intravitreal injections
▸ Laser procedures
▸ Fluorescein angiography
▸ Recruitment of surgical patients, counselling/informed consent, and pre-operative assessment
▸ Driving licence medical reports/assessments
